Hi If the 601 & 801 became the 3000& 4000
what was the 701 & 901 called 4 cylinder
were they called 3000 4000 row crops or what ?

No 3000 until 1965. The 5x1, 6x1, and 7x1 became the 2000, and the 8x1 nad 9x1 became the 4000. Several different models were made and were differentiated by model number.
