Don and everyone else. Thanks for your input on previous post 10/28. My problem is oil bath cleaner not lining up with sheet metal opening. Looks like 2 mounting holes on each side in steering gear assembly. Mine was mounted to upper hole. This could account for oil bath filter not lining up. I have sheet metal off. Question. Does anyone know which hole is correct one to use for '65 model 600? And why there are two? Also if I drop down to lower hole, do I have to lower front end sheet metal also to keep proper alignment? Right now, dash sheet metal is about 1/2" below hub on steering wheel. If I lower it to bottom hole, then dash will be about 2" below steering wheel hub. Does this seem correct? Thanks in advance. David (Alabama)

The top holes are for the 800 because they had larger gas tanks.

Scott, thanks for the reply. So that means that the steering gear assembly and front end parts were used on the 800 and 600 series? Thanks
