3 point question for pre 1964 Ford 2000 owners

For the past few weeks I've been trying to get this question answered . Even the NH dealer hasn't been able to answer it , the lift rod I was sold is to short. What is the measurement between hole centers of the lift link rod on the left side of the tractor ( 1964 Ford 2000 General purpose )? This measurement should not include the swivel. Just the measurement of the solid part.

Thanks for your help

Ed,

I am not the brightest light on the street, and I apologize, but I am not sure what you are talking about with a "lift rod". I have a 1964 4000 GP, but the measurement should be the same. I'll be glad to go measure, iffin ya can get it into my thick skull what I'm supposed to measure....

Good Luck!

Tommy , No need to appologize . I had to go into the manual to make sure i was describing it right with the proper name. I am correct. When sitting on the tractor it is on the left side . Its the rod that connects to your lower lift arm .Looks like a wishbone with a universal on the end under your seat connected to the tractors hydralic arm . On the right side of the tractor is the adjustable leveling arm with the crank. The left one is solid . the 4000 might be different , but I would be interested in knowing the measurment. Hope this helps

Thank You Ed
