I charged battery up, engine spins over but, will not crank. I have a friend pull with another tractor and it will start right off.
So while tractor was running I cracked the rear injector line and bled it off, noticed a change in engine sound. I did the same on the middle injector and notice a change in engine sound. I cracked the front injector and engine dies. I pulled it off again, engine fired on first turnover, went thru bleeding injector again, got to the front injector, and I cracked open only a tad bit and engine almost dies again.
Front injector is the one immediately behind fan.
So, I have narrowed it down to the fact that if I crack the front injector line engine will stop running. Tractor does not have the power it had a few days back before this problem showed up.
I have a Ford 730 Loader, it is slightly low on fluid.
I was moving some small tree tops around when the tractor started running funny.
Changed filters, but tractor was acting the same way before filter change.
I read somewhere that sometimes one might have to have tractor on a steep incline in order to get all air out of injector pump. All Help appreciated.

well, its definately not number 1... so when you open the bleeders on 2 or 3,, do you see fuel coming out of the injector lines when you loosen them?? if not,, your pump is plugging up.. due to alge or contamination... believe it or not this can happen sometimes when you change out filters,,, you knock some crud loose, and it gets in the pump and can render some or all of the cyl's inoperative... It seems that you need two injectors (#2 and #3). You may need injector pump work if it has an inline Simms pump, but probably not if it has a rotary CAV pump. Rotary injection pump problems are seldom cylinder-specific.Best to pull all the injectors get them tested and do a compression test while the injectors are out. Be sure you have a good flow of fuel to the injection pump through the filter.
