Sad that with the popularity and versatility of the Ford line that they were not included.Dunno if anything will be made of the anniversary though as Ford itself sold out of the tractor business several years ago and no longer is active, even in the parts line.I believe the last"true" Ford badged tractor was built in 89?? or so.I grew up with 9N,8N,Jubilee,860,5000,8000 and was saddened by the loss of these dependable tractors.Somethin about the Boomers and New Hollands just don't seem right.

JDK,

Ford may have "sold out" of the tractor business, but when a NH employee walked into the Ford dealership my wife manages, he qualified for purchasing his new Ford under the company A plan which is reserved for Ford employees only, one can only wonder how far they "sold out"?

A TC-30 is the same as a Ford 1715 also you can still get a 5610 6610 and a 7610 which are Ford tractors. Also the "Boomers" are pretty much the same as the Ford compacts with different sheet metal. Boomers are a very good compact. They have made in japan motors but everything is made in the US. Everything on the TC-30 which is a Ford 1715 is made in Japan. Just be glad that New Holland wants to support Ford owners with parts and service

Jeff you may know something about this, we have a Long dealer here who has claimed for years that the Long engine is identical to the Ford New Holland engine and now says the Long tractor is the same as the TC's. Any input out there?
