Need Help
Working on a 4000 utility not a row crop that is leaking rearend fluid out the right side wheel seal.
I took the wheel off
Removed the 9 bolts that hold the brake backing plate and the bearing housing onto the trumpet.
Now I need to know how to remove the retainer and the bearing from the shaft in order to get to the outer rear wheel seal.
when i am done do I repack the bearing and how do I preload it?
Im a big red fan but just happen to be working on big blue today
Thank you in advance for all your help

you should take the axle to a nh dealer and let them use the special tools to remove the nut and puller to pull bearing. when you put axle back in use the tractor use the same shims that were removed and preload should be fine
