Friend of mine has a 1953 golden jubilee. We were rattling on the other day about where it fit in the ford series, its relative worth, etc. He says it is the first model with the overhead valve engine, right before the 600's. He was wondering whether he could get more for it local or over the internet, if he was to sell it. I realize tractor values vary across the country. Could anyone give me a general indication of its rarity, worth, peculiarities, etc.? Just a general fmi post. I thank you for your time.

Check out the photo ads on this site, you'll see what others are asking for one in about the same shape.

The 'net has the capability of reaching alot more people than advertising locally, and also finding the person looking for that particular tractor, it was the first for overhead valves and live hydraulics, '53 was the Golden Jubilee and it was made that year only '54 was basically same tractor but it was called NAA, then the hundred series started, being made only one year there is considerably less of them than others and also marking Ford's 50th year would make them more desirable to collectors, probably $2500-$3000 for a running, working tractor and $???? for a fully restored one. Disclaimer: This is my thoughts on the subject, they should in no way be taken to heart you dont know me from Adam's house cat I may be telling an outright lie so use your own judgement. LOL

Terry : Take a look at the menu on the left side of this page....You'll see a heading for "Tractor Values". That might help you.

In New York's Catskill region, a Jubilee in good working shape (Not restored) can bring $3000 to $3500.
