The water pump on my 3600 is leaking. What are some sources for a new pump in addition to the New Holland dealer?

I would like to do this job myself. What all has to come off to do the job? I will have a pretty good mechanic helping.

Is there a good service manual that covers this operation?

I will pull all off the front and clean and replace the hoses etc.

Thanks for the information.

Ken Not too bad of a job. I think removing the radiator is the way to go. Good time for a new coolant, belt and hoses. My NH dealer only had the new unit from NH, no core, $110 cdn. Good luck . Roy

Ken, I took off the whole front end off, as I wanted to clean up all the dirt and ect....but you don't have to, but it makes it easier. You don't need a service manual, easy job to do. Any good parts house could get you a new one, or a re-built....

You can change the pump without removing the cowl and radiator. In most instances, it is much easier and better to remove them, though.

My FO-41 manuel says to remove the radiator to replace the water pump. It may be possible to get it off without that much work but I know changing the belt was hard enough.Good luck
