just purchased a ford 2000 68 vinyard model, without any roll over protection. it has a very narrow rear axle. 940mm wide between wheel mounts.
with the guards mounted of the seat base. leaving no way to mount normal roll bars. also it does not run stabaliser chains on the lift arms but has brackets on the axles for the arms to slide against, any help on the rops or more stability on the linkages would be appreciated. we seem to have a lot of early fordsons and fords in australia.

I don't know how yours is set up, but on mine I bolted a 1" plate in between the fender and axle and welded a 3-1/2" square tube with a 3/16" wall and about 4" long onto the plate and a 3" tube will slip down into it and allows me to unbolt the "cage" and remove it when I want. The primary purpose of mine is to protect me from falling tree limbs and small trees. I have some pictures somewhere I will try to find. DR
