I recently purchased a 1964 Ford 4000 diesel with the select o speed to restore. The trans locks up in several gears and I am thinking from looking at the I T manual it may be the direct clutch. I have 17 years experience rebuilding Automatic trans in cars, but never anything like this. Does anyone have advise or upgrades i might do when i tackle this job or any other advise. I have a toll free number in my Office and would love to hear from anyone or e mail me. I want to keep the sos my # 800.344.1507

Likely a stuck direct drive clutch valve - under steering pedestal.
