will an industrial Ford loader from a 2000 3 cylinder gas fit on a 4000 3 cylinder gas tractor.

Joe, I wouldn't recommend trying to make it fit. The front bolsters are quite different, the 2000 and 3000 have the swept back front axle that articulates on a tubular pin aligned with the crankshaft centerline. The 4000 has a straight front axle that articulates on a pin under the front bolster.

On 2000 and 3000 tractors, loaders have to attach to the engine block to bolster bolts, on 4000's there are mounting pads on the outside of the front bolster casting.
