I have a 1963 2000. On the bottom of the transmission on the right side just aft of the engine is a plate about 4.5 inches square. In the center of the plate is a hole. Is the hole supposed to be open or should it be plugged? Thanks for any help. Also does anyone know of a web site that has manuals online?
Thanks for any help

The hole stays open, should have a cotter key hanging out to keep it from getting plugged. I got a IT shop manual, FO-20 from my local Tractor Supply Company. Best $20 you will spend. Mines a 63, 4cy gas..Check this link for some specs.
