I cut brush and disc in an area that is mostly black brush which is quite hard and thorny resulting in many flat tires. I planned to add the tire sealant that is sold at TSC. The people there tell me that I cannot add water to the tires ( they are tube type with tubes) if they contain the sealant. What can I use (besides weights) that will be a sealant and also work with water. I do not want to add the expensive foam if I can help it. Thanks albe

Hello Albe , What condition are the tires on your tractor now ? Will you be needing new ones soon because you can also go to a heavier ply tire . I would guess you have Four ply tires on it now , Go to Eight or Ten ply tires , the difference in price is worth more than the flat tires any day . I run Eight ply tires on my Ag. tractors and Ten ply tires on my Industrial tractors . Thanks Tony Jacobs

hi Albe,
Gempler's (www.gemplers.com) has a real good selection of tire products, and they'll answer tire questions. I think standard tire sealants are water soluble. Gempler's also has heavy rubber liners for thorns--not cheap, though. regards, George
