I have a 53 Ford Jubilee that I just rebuilt the transmission on. I have a good amount of wear on the 1st/3rd shift rail and the shifter itself. I welded and ground down to get the 2 balls of the shifter correct, but do I need to do the 3/16" square above the ball. Also, I need to know where I can get a new shift rail... HELP!!!!!

Have found many tranny parts at salvage yards that I have found on the internet. Search Ford Tractor transmission Jubilee your state and neighboring states. Do this in a variety of combos. Also just Tractor Salvage does well on the net.

Good Luck
