I would like determine the lifting capacity of the 3point on a 1964 4000 Diesel.

remember that due to leverage, the farther out the weight is, the less it can lift.. but its about 1000 to 1500 lbs at the end of the lift arms.. ideally it will be when the relief valve starts to leak down due to load..if everything else is in good shape.. sorry i dont have the exact spec..

newer tractors are now measure at 24 inches behind the lift arms.. iirc.... and can be from 1700 to 3500...
