I am in need of a service manual for my 3000. I am wondering if anyone has any experience with both the New Holland manual (~$90) and the I & T manual (~20), or another one. There's a big difference in price, but is there a big difference in content?
Thanks,
Jim

I have both AND the parts manual for the thousand series. Would not think of not having the original factory service manual! My $.02!

Service manual is three inches thick. Compared to I&T of only 3/16". Parts manual is 5 inches thick - every thing you need to know! Having the parts manual has helped me get the RIGHT part when the parts guy was new and not sure of what he was doing.

Hi Jim, I have both a factory manual and an IT manual that cover 501 through 4000 series tractors. The IT manual is pretty much a highly condensed(142 pages) version of the factory manual(421 pages). If I had to have just one manual I'd pick the factory manual. But, the IT manual does have some things that aren't in the factory manual, which is why I have both. Good luck...Al English
