I would like to know if there is a source to identify the engine, transmission, & differential
casting numbers for a build year. Model & serial numbers are gone. Thanks

I can tell you what you have if you post what numbers you have , I know them only because I have been working on them all my life , but I do not know of a printed source for them , and I have most of every piece of Ford Literature printed for the 1953 -1965 tractors . Thanks Tony Jacobs

The Engine casting number is correct 61-65 , but I need the date , it is the left side just above the oil pan rail at the front of the block . The S-O-S is a Direct clutch model (the better one) Jan. 26 1965 . The rear housing should be CONN-4024-B I think you better double check , the date will be under the casting number . Was there a serial number and model number on the trans or was it blank like some warranty trans are or was it eaten away from battery acid ? Thanks Tony Jacobs

OOPS, yes that was the wrong differential #.
Correct diff# 312478. Will look for engine date code soon. Thanks.
