I have a chance to buy this loader to put on 3910 4wd. It came off a Ford 3600 tractor. Anybody have any experience with this loader? What should I look for? Will I need special mounts to attach it different from a 3600? any comments appreciated.

The correct loader for a 3910 fwd would be a 776f or a 7410. I don't know for sure, but I would suspect that the frame rails to the rear axle are different, because the 3600 had a single reduction rear end. Also possible that the front wheels on the 3910 will hit the loader mast when the wheeles are cut, with the axle at full oscillation. I guess the torch and welder can make anything fit, if the determination and skill exists. I doubt that this one is a direct swap, but somebody will correct me if I'm wrong.

thanks. Wonder what difference is between 776b & 776f? Sounds like just the mounts. bc says he has a 3910 w/776b but didnt say whether it was 2 wd or 4 wd.

Well, as I said before, I am not all that familiar with that particular model of loader. The biggest difference may be in the letter painted on the arm...just a newer series. The loaders themselves may be very similar, but I would suspect somewhat different mounts. Some of the newer series loaders were different for two wheel drive and four wheel drive. My FWD 3930 has a 7410 loader while a two wheel drive model would have the 7209, which was a lighter loader, with less capacity, and less strength. As I recall, the 776F was a quick-tach model. Don't know about 776B. Also watch out for the front mounts if the 3600 had one. That would be different from the 3910. Just measure it up carefully, watching length to front, length to rear axle, and height relationship of side rails to rear axle. The width should be the same. Have fun.

Salesman says the 776b is a quick attach type. Thanks a heap for your advice.
