Does anyone have info on the center of gravity of an NAA and the associated rollover vs. degree of tilt? I would assume that there is a significant difference between the point of rollover depending on where the gauge of the rear wheels are set up.

Loaded rear tires are a good thing to have when operating on hilly or uneven ground but as the other posters said,, experience and a "feel" for your tractor is the best,, cuz they WILL roll if the situation is right [or should I say wrong] be safe- good luck

You just won't find a useful number....

At some point, it will roll over. Depends on:

Added weight - tires filled, etc. - how high is the weight?

Width of tread - as you say, one of the biggest factors.

What implements are on the tractor, how high, how heavy - loader, 3-point stuff, if a sickle mower is the bar on the uphill or downhill, etc.

Now, even if you get all that info, do you allow yourself 5 degrees of safety? 10 degrees? I don't know.

What happens if you get a blowout on the lower tire? What if you hit a gopher mound or badger hole with a tire?

How fast are you traveling? Are you turning downhill, or uphill? Speed is a big issue.

No one will accept the variable liability to give you a magic number. I see 'tilt meters' sold over at tractorbynetcom - niffty fun device, but I don't see any value to it at all?

You end up going by feel. It's going to depend on your exact setup, which is different than anyone else's, and probably different that it was yesterday for you! :)

Ron; Center of gravity and associated rollover is in direct proportion to what is called experience in driving tractors and a little commom sense!!, this will beat any thing a book can tell you.
