What are your plans for this find? Spin a prop and make some wind? The end result will determine how much time/effort you want to exert. If your plan is to say I have an airplane engine want to see it run then only 3 things are required, spark, air and fuel.

Why does it need to be overhauled? Does it turn over by hand? Is it complete? What is your mechanical back ground?
Not enough info to advise.

The engine sat in a shop for many years with the 2 rocker box covers removed from one side and mice got inside the engine. Therefore the cam, pushrods and cylinder walls are rusted. I tore the engine down and cleaned up the rust and honed the cylinders. I want to re-assemble the engine and try to start it. I may then sell it if it's worth anything to anyone and of course I will tell them that it is not airworthy. I need to know the torque values for all of the bolts and the main thing I need to know is how to time the camshaft to the crankshaft. When I got it all cleaned up I could not find any marks on the timing gears.
