Have purchased a 6000 Diesel not running, how do you disengage rear end to move it. Also looking at buying 6000 Diesel tricycle front with trans missing and large tree growing up through frame where trans was. Is it worth 400 for parts. Also where can I find parts to rebuild engine, and parts book and manuals.

Anthony,

One of the vendors here at this site sells manuals for the 6000, I would recommend you stay away from them. The 6000 manual I purchased from them had illistrations that were black and unuseable, when I complained I was ignored and so cannot recommend using tham at all.

To my way of thinking $400 for a pile of junk with a tree growing up through it is a tad pricey, unless you just have to have the tricycle, I'd pass on it. I like the wide front on ours and you can adjust them to fit almost all your needs. As it is, they should pay you for hauling it away for them. Good luck.

Mike

There are 2 levers on the left side of the transmission housing with loops at ends. One disconnects the trans. from the rearend and the other changes the pto speed. I don't remember which is which.
