Hello everybody. I bought a 871D SOS about a year ago and it was repainted at one time. Where the red paint is peeling off there is shiny gold paint. I was wondering if this is a gold demonstrator or if they used a gold primer back then. Where the gray paint is I can't find any gold paint. I also found 3 more ford tractors like this but I wasn't able to buy them. Thank You for all your help. Black Angus.

If the gold is on the transmission, it may have been an exchange unit from a demonstrator. If the gold is everywhere it may be a demonstrator. Check the serial number and determine the year.
