will a naa run a post hole digger ok, like one from tranctor supply??

how big of an augger will it turn??

As others said, it will work fine, if soil isn't too compact or too much rock and shale. If you break a shear bolt, replace with grade 5, not grade 8, to protect the shaft.

An NAA is much better with a post hole digger than an N, as it has live hydraulics. It will do a good job. Mine has a 12" auger and I haven't had any problems running it with my NAA.

I agree: The NAA shouldn't have a problem, though that might depend on the soil. Back when I had my 8N, I used a friend's posthole digger on really sandy soil - 9" or 12" auger, I think - and didn't have a problem until I got down into some red clay! I learned to take smaller bites, but it worked fine.
