I'm looking to purcahse a new grill, but not sure which one was factory on this tractor. I think it is the two piece on. Right now it has the one piece black grill with ford in plastic letters on it,but i think this is off of the 3600 industrial tractor. Anyone know which is correct?

The one piece grill on my 1969 3000 is white with the Ford lettering.

Sorry guys, I just had a senior moment! I just got back from the barn and my memory did not serve me too well. My 1969 3000 does indeed have a two piece grill: Top 1/4 of grill is crome with raised FORD in red letters; bottom 3/4 of grill is a white grid (looks like plastic). Sorry for the misinformation.

Al and Woody, you guys should post pictures of your 3000's in the gallery to the left. The rest of us 3000 owners would like to see them.

MY 69 3000 that I bought new has a 2 piece grill, as well as my 74 model. But they are different. The 69 has a metal[chrome]top and a white bottom with a blue metal screen behind it held together by the grill bolts. At least all I have seen have been that way if they were original. The 74 like my 72 5000 has a 2piece molded plastic top and bottom.
