When I pulled the valve cover off a 971 Diesel, I noticed the oil line to the rocker arms is fairly loose. I think the lower end fits in a seal of some type. Is it hard to install and does anyone know the part number for the seal? Also I would need the gaskets for the covers on the side of the motor, correct?

There is a rubber bushing/o ring on that oil line, just wiggle and pull and wiggle. It will come out. No need to remove the side cover.

Never did like that method of oil feed, still think it is a trip through the woods.
