I went to the local Ford (New Holland) tractor dealer today to get a few parts. Sign on the door says "WE ARE CLOSED". The building and lot are empty. There are no other dealers nearby. Are any of you guys in this situation? What do you do? Does anyone one a Ford tractor dealer that is good and will mail order parts? Thanks for any help you can offer, Bill

Simpson Ford (New Holland) Tractor in Richland Center, Wisconsin would probably ship parts. Bob Simpson collects old Fords himself and is knowledgable and nice to work with.

I posted a link that list the dealers by state, maybe somebodys not too far. The suppliers on this board might be able to get you what ever you need. If your in an ag community the local parts stores might already carry some parts if not ask them to. Some things to check or watch for on mailorder;
1.Check if they have an 800 or 888 number or email.
2.You might be better off ordering across state lines if your not tax free because if they charge 10% shipping and 5-8% tax that adds a pretty good chunk to your total.
3.See if they charge acutual shipping cost.
4.Some places charge an oversize box charge then they put all your parts in this box jacking up the size and weight to where you almost pay double shipping.

I can't say for other states, but two of the three dealers in the Denver area (Universal Tractor, Lakewood and Potestio Bros, Parker) aren't listed on this link.

I guess the the ones un the list are the ones that advertise at that site. Nothing really comes up in a search for an official site with a dealer locator.
