Anyone know the best way to remove the fuel tank from a 1985 Ford 6610 w/cab, without removing the cab? I thought it may come out through the inside of the cab, but not sure. It looks as though some panels around the tank may be part of the cab (i.e. not removable).

remove the cab or split the tractor at the clutch housing. You can remove the dash to replace the fuel sender but thats about it without lifting the cab. Personally I would rather split the tractor.

Thanks. I tilted the cab back on the rear bolts after taking the necessary rods and hoses loose. It wasn't near as bad as it looked.
