I have in what I beleive and was told at the time of purchase that the tractor i was purchasing was a 3000 model , I have no reason not to believe the man I purchased the tractor from. Now I am wanting to purchase some parts for it and want to make sure I am getting the parts that I need . The number on the transmission is : C5NN-402-D Number on Engine block is: C5NN 6015 T1 Head has number : G 3000 00 Firing order is 1-2-3 Has a Lucas Generator - 12 Volt Rearend Housing Right side #-C5NN-402-D Top Hat Cover has a number - C5NN-501-F I know it is a 158 cid engine and it has only 4 forward gears. Doesn't have a live PTO . It has a Holley Carb. at the present time , going to swap with Zenith as soon as I find out what I'm actually ordering for . I do not have a New Holland dealership close enuff to me or I woulda drove there myself . Bunch of great guys on here with alot of knowledge and I speak for all of the not so knowledgable , we definitely appreaciate everyone's help!! Thank's alot guy's :

I have the same number C5NN 6015 on my block and the trans code is C5NN 7006 Z and can't find any other numbers on mine. All the decals say ford 3000 - but all the pictures I see show the exhaust going out through the hood -- my exhaust manifold and pipe points down--not up. I wish I could find out more so I could get a book and parts for it. Icouldn't find any numbers behind the starter as told on oak tree --- mine has a flat spot with bolt holes in that spot. I guess it's for some kind of equipment to hook to. I'll keep checking and notify the forum if I find out more --- please post any help you can. Thanks

That is funny, I have a 1966 3000 born on the 21 of November. Small world...

According to this Oak Tree page I appearently have a Ford 3000 , 1966,Nov.22 . Day Shift. Production code read off as such-6L22B .I will double check these numbers in the morning as it has gotten to dark outside to second guess these important numbers. Thanks for the help:
