I read on a previous post where the serial numbers were and how to tell your date of manufacture but I have a problem reading the numbers. I can make out 841 then it looks like 2 "1"'s laying down on their side then under those is a 7 - 7 . Make any sense to anyone?

Look for a tag attached to left side of the trans/rearend case on the left side (when sitting on the tractor) below the seat. This tag will have a letter and three numbers. The letter is the month A=Jan B=Feb etc. the first two numbers are the day of manufacture, and the last number is the year, ie:a 7 means 1957. Hope this helps.
