the hydraulics on my 3000 diesel stops working when i rev the engine over idle. At idle it works slow but the 3 ph lifts 5-600 kg with ease.
If the tractor not have been in use for a few days i have to bleed the pump before the 3ph would lift.
Any ideas on this?

thanks!

This is just a guess! The hydraulic pump is driven by a gear on the end of the cam. If it quits when you rev the motor you may have a suction problem for your hydraulic pump. Check to see if the pump loses prime when you rev the engine. If the suction line was clogged a little, at idle speed it may let enough through to keep it going even though it may be slow but when the pump is spinning faster it cant supply enough. Like I said just a guess good luck with it.
