stabilizer chains/bars 4100 ford

need help for my grandfathers ford 4100. He keeps bending the bars. Forgets they are there when backing up and bends them all to hell. Does any one know of a set up of chains that will solve this issue. THanks for the help.

Andrew;
Take a look at the sway control system on the newer 10,30 and TN series NH tractors. They use a square tube slid inside a bigger tube and a pin between the two. Much more user friendly than the flat sway bars on the 00 series. I think my dealer said a kit was available for a bit over $100 a side for my 3600. If your handy a set could be built pretty easy.
