I am looking to purchase a 4000 or a 4600. Is there any fall backs to either of these tractors. I know that they are close to the same. Has everyone found these two models to be sturdy and reliable and a all around good tractor.

I think that the 4600 hydraulic pump has more output.

I own a 4600 series unit and would not trade it for anything, lots of power, a very solid unit, and your right there is not much difference between the two, best of all they are a cinch to work on and maintain. Go for it and good luck.
