I own a '64 Ford 4000, and it has given me many good years of service. It's been food plot planter, yard mower, and brush hogger, and since I converted to 12 volt, it has never let me down. Developed a leak on the hydraulic pump tonight. Found I have lost a bolt that hold the metal fluid transfer tube. (metal tube that runs from bottom of pump to the transmission case). It is toward the front of the pump, and closest to the engine block. The remaining bolts appear to be thread stock. The metal transfer tube slides over the thread stock and a nut secures everything. What size of thread stock do I need and what length? Is there a part number? Can I use a bolt to secure?

Allen,

I have a 1958 861 but I understand the 4000's are very much like the 861? Here is a pix of the related parts, does it look like yours?
