Yes, the hydraulics will bolt right on. I just finished installing a 3 point system on an 820. The castings are all the same, some had the 3 point system installed and some didn`t.
Remove the plate, clean the resevoir(if necessary),and bolt the 3 point system on. There is also a plate on the engine where the pump goes. Remove that and install the pump. Install the manifold, add oil and you are in business. The biggest problem will probably be the cost of the unit.

3 point hitch would be dificult to add as the rear end of that tractor most likely does not have the proper spots in the casting to install it. Power steering can be added but the costs are somewhat prohibitive.($1000+)

Glad to hear I was wrong on the castings! Had an IH that was non 3 pt so based my reply off the problems I encountered there. Guess I will have to look closer at the 3 pt on my 860. Hard to see as it has a backhoe and no 3 pt arms. learn something new every day! clue me in if I 'm wrong on the power steering too! That I have looked into on this tractor and that is the cost for adding a factory style P/S system.

I wish I knew about the power steering. I don`t have it and wish I did. If I ever have the time I am going to try to adapt some sort of setup onto an 800 series.

Char-Lynn makes an in line steering assist that I have been real tempted to try but a couple people here warned me off of it as stressfull on the rest of the steering which is entirely possible. The unit goes between the steering wheel and the box which amplfies your turning power into the box. Have you heard of this?

I installed a Jackson Power Steering unit on my 850. You are kinda close on the price, but it was well worth it. This is a true power steering unit not power assist. I used to say that the lack of PS was the only thing that kept my tractor from being better than a modern one. I can't say that anymore. It is awesome!

Some Ford tractors were manufactured without any hydraulics whatever, no PTO, no proofmeter, no power steering, nothing but a drawbar. They were made strictly for towing. If yours has the pump and lift cover in place, lift arms can be installed. Power steering kits are available. Email me if interested.
