The 1955 versions have the fender skin riveted to a piece of flat steel that loopes around the perimeter of the fender. The '56 and '57 fenders look the same (as far as the skin) but the support system is different. It consists of three braces that branch up from the base.

Whichever you have, you should be able to get $100 - $200 for the pair from a restorer who cares about originality and correctness. I sold a useable but beat pair of '56-'57 fenders for $100 (including freight....net to me about $60) to a guy who just needed something to put on his working 800. We both were happy about the deal.

Depends on what pieces you have and what shape they are in. Here is one off a 801 diesel that sold on e-bay a few days ago. You can compare what you have to this and it should give you a good idea.
Now if you could find two people that wants it at the same time that may raise the price 25%.

After posting the other post I realized you may have been talking about rear fenders. If so they sell for about $100. to $125. new with the mounting brackets.

I'm not sure what they are worth. It depends on condition, and the willingness of buyer and seller to agree. I have a buddy who is looking for a pair. Email me if you so desire.
