Stopped and looked at an old Ford Tractor today. What caught my eye was it's BAD paint job. Bumperchrome and fire engine red. Looks like it was originally blue. It is styled very similiar to a hundred series tractor. It has a cast unadjustable front end, a hi/lo shift lever on the left side, powersteering, a fuel guage. "CONN6015J" is cast on the dipstick side of the block. The following is stamped just above the starter " 413 01 5 " then a diamond 3 388 19 diamond. Looks likeit has a new radiator. Pretty rough other wise. Any ideas what it might be? Whatcha reckon its worth?

The number you posted seems to be a 4130 series industrial model, sort of an orphan built in 1961 early 1962. Has 801 sheet metal, non adjustable front axle and was originally painted fawn and red.

Hey Bob, did you know that if you write your name in all caps, then turn it upside down you get:
337 808?

Sounds like you're looking at an early 4000 series. I'm not too familiar with them, but those numbers should tell someone which model it is, how it's equipped and when it was made.

I hope you didn't take offense at my getting a life line. I've only been in this forum for a few weeks, and I already know you're one of the guys to listen to! Your line just had me ROFL, and I had to say something.
BTW, I visited my closest NH dealer today. They had a ratty early 2000 sitting out (well it was blue and had fairly new 2000 decals on it! That makes it a 2000, don't it?) Both fenders were the kidney dimpled onese. One had Ford embossed and the other didn't.
They also had an immaculate 8N in their showroom! Brand new paint, brand new tires, raw metal shiney exhaust manifold. Part's man gave me a bunch of parts printouts on the older fenders. He also said "you sound like the kind of guy who would be interested", reached under the counter and gave me two of those posters showing all the Ford tractors - One of the grey and red and blue ones, and one of the yellow ones.
