I have Ford 981 with the 711 loader on it. I also have a Ford 640 with a Wagner WMD5 Loader on it. The 981 is a handier all around tractor for me but the 711 loader isn't. I'd like to get down to one tractor, sell the 640 and the 711 loader. Did anyone ever make a regular 2 arm loader for the 901 series? I know you can't put a front pump on these tractors. What did the pump run off of? Any help would be great!!!!! !!!!

My two arm loader is 701. It is a very sturdy and well built loader that is pretty easy to put on and off. My email address is open. Send me an email and I'll mail you a picture.

I have a 971 with a Ford two arm loader (standard Dearborn loader). I am currently trying to convert to a full hydraulic bucket. I have a Massey Harris 44 Special with a loader as well and this 971 is a much easier to use tractor. I don't think you need a front pump on the 981 as it already has live power and hydraulics. I've got a double acting 3 position valve (Ford OEM Part that came with tractor) under the seat that I am going to use for the bucket. I'm told these are are Ebay quite often. I need another valve for the lift arms. You can email me at denisspringer@hotmail.com. I'll send you a picture. And the next time I'm up there with the tractor, I'll get you a model number.
