I need to purchase a new battery. I have a 641 and a 8N. I am nearly finished restoring the 8N so it has no battery at all. The 641 has a battery that I suspect has a leak because of corrosion on the new fairly new battery box plus it doesn't seem like the right fit. Is there one size battery that will fit BOTH tractors since one will be 500 miles away and I would like to bring battery home to keep charged? No need to have a battery sit for 4-6 months without cranking and no way to keep a maintainer on it. No electricity in shed! What class battery do you guys recommend for both tractors? Both are 12 Volt conversions.

Group 25 or 35 should fit right. It's a good fit in my NAA. Length and width should be same as original 6v battery, height may be different. Got mine at Wal Mart.
