Hi I got my 2110 LCG home and had a few questions. It has a lever under the seat on the right side what is it for? Is the PTO lever down behind the left foot area? It does not want to move. What are the factory orig colors for this model. Can the 4 spd trans be converted to an 8 spd or do you need new cases. It apears that the trans cover has a place for the second lever. By the way 3cyl gas 4 spd trans and trans PTO. Thanks for any insight you can share with a new owner. Richard

Please advise where I can possibly locate info/or perhaps a schematic on the 1965 Ford Tractor.
Serial #C14074. Steering has failed and we need to repair. Thanks. James Pewitt

Richard,

Here is a post on draft/position control that I made on the Ford N-Board. It is a LOT of information, starting with definitions and some history. But it also tells you how to use them effectively, especilly draft control.

Regards,
Larry

1. Draft/positive control for 3pt hitch.
2. Yes, maybe rusted, jammed.
3. Blue/gray
4. Not sure about the tranny.
Good Luck

I also have a 65' LCG 2110 and asked for comments of color. I've been told of yellow sheet metal and blue body as a color used but my sheet metal looks like it was originally cream with blue body. What is your color?

I believe the yellow ones were highway dept tractors.

Hi and thanks for the comments. Today on e-bay I found an original colored ad for the 1965 LCG series. It shows a 4000 with yellow sheet metal, blue seat and body, yellow fenders and yellow rims. Mine is the same except rims are blue. decals in the add are blue except the series # which shows red. search ebay for item # 1146465952
It also has text in the ad but is hard to read. Richard

Thanks for letting me know where to find a picture. Mine is exactly like this one including the rear tires. Mine took on the cream color I guess by ageing. The letters behind the FORD that I assume are the ones you can't read are "LCG", mine is still ledgible.
