There are 2 auctions this weekend. One has a Ford 2000 4cyl ser# 29947. The other a Ford gas 3000 3cly. I'm looking for a replacement for my 2n. Any comparsions that you guys can make? I mainly use the 2n for brush hogging and planting food plots for wildlife. Thanks in advance!

Gary: The 3000 is the bigger, better newer tractor with better 3-cylinder engine and more rugged all the way through. A fine well-kept 2000 could also be a good tractor if it had not been abused and was kept in a high state of repair. The 4-cylinder engine is the same design as the Jubilee-600-601, but without sleeves, from what I understand. If I were in the market I would go look at both of them and try to run them hours before the auction. The best one is the cheapest in the long run. Good luck. Mike-Iowa
