I posted an earlier question on this tractor.
I used tractor yesterday to move a large tree that blew down for my neighbor. It worked great for that. No problem with power!!!
I don't have any hydraulics or brakes!
No sign of external leaks other than seeps.
After using tractor and parking it on a slope, I notice and seep coming from the right rear axle seal. I am guessing that the fluid level in the differential is high. I haven’t checked level as of yet. Could this be from a blown seal on the internal brakes?
Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Bill

IF you don"t have hydralics or brakes you may have low hydralic oil or what sometimes happens is if someone worked on the pump and got the two big hoses going to the unloading valve reversed. These are the supply and return hoses and sometimes it will work till you change filter or do other work on the system.there is a warning in the factory manual on this.As for the axle leak the seal is probably bad.I"ve got one thats leaked for awhile with no effect on the brakes.Good luck.

Steve,
Thanks for the input.
I filled hydraulic tank, 3+ gallons.
I now have P/S and brakes. P/S seems a little weak and brakes grab.
My 3-point lift doesn't work.
I haven't had time to check pump pressure.
Would a weak pump be the problem?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Bill
