I recently purchased a Ford 720 front loader to install on my 69 Ford 2000 (gas). Does anyone know where I can get information, including the mounting brackets and hardware, for this project? Will the tractor handle the loader OK? It does have power steering :)

Since there is no front pto on the tractor, I am assumining I would have to mount a shaft to the crank pully. Is this correct?

Any info and advice regarding the installation would be greatly appreciated.

You will need to either mount a front pump or run the loader off the tractor hydraulics. Tractor hydraulics are slow. You will need mount a pump drive to the crank pully.
I would get an owners manual from a New holland dealer for the loader. It should have a parts list and drawings of the mounting brackets. You will need to either hunt junk yards or have brackets built. The are usually pretty simple to make.

Costs could add up pretty fast. Good Luck

Anthony,

Any chance you could let me know how much you paid for your 720. I"ve been looking around Kansas city for a suitable Loader for a 65 4000 and would like to perhaps get a better deal on the loader than I did on my tractor.
