Need to replace the air intake breather housing. The nut on bolt are rusted together and just turn when try to remove. Does the housing screw off the intake pipe or is it all one peice?

OK lets see if I can answer a couple of questions you asked me but that I never got around to answering.

What air filter do you have and what nut/bolt are you talking about.

The part I am talking about is at the top of the pipe I have circled. There is a nut on bolt that goes down into pipe. It is all rusted. The nut and bolt turn together. See photo

Thanks

That pre cleaner is in 3 pieces. A base with the bolt molded into it; The clear cup; And the gray metal top.

I believe the base is pressed into the pipe but will be a bear to get it off because of years of rust and metal bonding.

While I am not there and can not look it over well I feel your only out is to go to Ford and get a whole new pre cleaner. Take the pipe and pre cleaner off the tractor and do what ever it takes to bend; break; twist; ect to get the pre cleaner off while saving the pipe.

Your oil bath filter is in that blue tray at the other end of the pipe. Take that blue tray off; clean; and refill to the line with engine oil.

Unless you keep this thing inside all the time get you a rain cap for that exhaust pipe also.

It looks like someone modified your intake system. There should be some plumbing running from the red box below the intake manifold to the back side of the louvered panel just above your battery. This would be the system that john in la posted (the upper system of the two). I would remove that vertical pipe and see if you can see another nut on the bottom side of the one that just spins. You may have to hacksaw that pipe in two just below that pre-filter on the top of the pipe in order to get a hold on the bolt spins.

Ha has the optional pre-cleaner. Not a modification.
