My lift would not work and the pump was leaking so I rebuilt the pump and it works good. My problem now is while I was bush hogging the mower came all the way up but the lever was still in the down position. I stoped and messed with the lever and it went down and worked ok for a while and then did it again. What could be causing this? thanks Bob

Mine did this when I got junk in my lift cylinder openings. It would not let the unloading valve work properly and would keep going up. My tractor is being fixed up and was in very rough condition, so this may not be your problem. Another good place to check is the backpressure valve. That is the valve on the side of the tractor underneath the big acorn nut. You did unscrew this before you removed the cover, then tightened it back up when you put the cover back on didn't you? I replaced the rubber washer that presses into the lift cyinder housing so my backpressure valve seals up against it better, and my lift stop raising on it's own.

If you want a laugh to see just how bad my tractor was, check out the link below.

HTH,
Dan

I have a grader blade mounted on the three point and when I put it in full up the blade will start to hick-up. And when I put the mower on it will only pick it off the ground less than a foot. Any ideas? Sandy PS I couldn't bring up the NAA Hyd. Document

Wow!

That is one nice document! Makes me wish that my tractor had a 3pt so I could fix it!
