Hello, I had this tracter mower given to me from an Aunt. The starter and ring were gone, fortunately, years ago they bought new ones, but uncle wasn't smart enough to figure out how to fix it. So I got it, and with a little TLC, a tune up, and some good old metal work to get the starter ring on and I've been using it ever since. It has a trans axle that works great, and silently. It also has the briggs pancake twin, with electric PTO to run a 42 inch cutting deck. Its pretty rusty and in need of a new seat. But I was wondering if this was collectable and how much it might be worth. Also, I'm wandering if I can get other attachments such as a small grader or something of the sort, especially interested in a bagger too. I may post again in a couple days due to some wiring and fly wheel trouble too. Thanks!!

In my opinion, if it was mine, I would fix it up. They are great, dependable tractors and will last a very long time. There are lots of attachments for them. Yes they did have small grader attachments, and baggers too. You can find most of this stuff on ebay. Good luck. Ford Guy.

Thanks, just what I wanted to know. I don't think I'll actually restore it though. Looks real easy for me to make my own custom exhaust and maybe a nice paint job just because lol. But your right, that ol Briggs fires up every time I use it now. I like the starter on it too, doesn't seem as easy to burn up as on craftsmen mowers. After a little while in heavy grass I think it over heats because the engine sometimes bogs and nearly stalls. If I let it run while doing no work at all, or shut it off for a while its fine again.
