I unhooked the Small return line to the injectors under the tank and fuel dripped out. I shot a little air up the small fitting and heard it bubble in the tank so I'm guessing my stand pipe is leaking or broken off. I thought I would unscrew it from the tank and see if I could fix it. It just did not want to come off and I didn't want to tear it up in the process. I also took off the valve cover and could see a small amount of red diesel on the return line about to drip off. Using 30 pounds of air I could see fuel seep from one of the bolt heads. I have no sealing washers on the top or bottom of these bolts so tomorrow I'm going to put new washers on the top where there are none now. Do I need to fix the stand pipe or just leave it alone before I tear up the fitting?? I was just getting a small amount of diesel in the oil and hope these new washers will fix that. Kelly Jewell, I am going to send you an E-Mail. Thank you.

Personally never figured what the stand pipe was for anyway bein the excess fuel is under pressure.
