3 point hitch is up all the way and wont go down.

Ford 601 series (641 Workmaster)

2 month old tractor owner here!

For the last couple days everytime i start it up the 3 point hitch swings all the way up stays there. The lever has the same feel as normal so i dont think its broke but it could be something inside. I talked to a guy that had the same problem and he has a up/down switch. we tried to find one on the 601 but it appears to not have one.

sounds like the control valve is stuck...going to have to remove the lft top to free it up. hth dana

Had same problem on my 4600. Had access through side of transmission to free a stuck valve I think from sitting to long,has been ok
