I am wondering what gas powered ford tractor can I get that has front Hydraulics. I have a dozer blade for my 9n that I can control if I chain my lift arms down. What I would like to do is have another ford that I can run the dozer blade on the front and box blade on the back. Any suggestions?

Wouldn"t you just want a hydraulic port & lever - any particular need for a front one? I suppose you are used to the jurry-rigged set up you have, but I believe from the NAA on, a hyd port is live, and works fine with the 3pt. In general these ports were optional, so any of these tractors _can_ have the port you want, but need to look at the individual machine.

I thought you were looking for a front wheel drive assist when I read the subject! :)

BB,

If you buy a tractor with a front loader, they usually will be powered by a crankshaft mounted hydraulic pump. Just be sure to look that there is indeed a front mounted pump! Sometimes people will run a loader off of the tractor hydraulics or a pto mounted pump. Both of those solution are inferior to a crank mount (IMO).

If you want to stay in the smaller size tractors but want to go upscale from your 9N, the 3 cyl series 2000 and 3000 are nice machines.

The hundred series tractors have the capability for a remote valve, You can run a cylinder while still being able to use the 3 pth

Answer is any, none. None of them came from the factory with them, they where add ons over the years. You can put the set up on your N but it hurts the back pocket. Figure $300-500 for a pump, $100 for the drive set up and $150-300 for the valves.
