I am replacing the center pin on the front axle. It is the threaded type and the part on the axle support that is threaded is worn. I figure I could get a nut - weld it on and I am all set. Does anyone know the thread on the pin ? I'm thinking an axle nut or something. Any ideas? Thanks

Andy, I believe it's a pipe thread, so take the new threaded pin and try to match it up at a plumbing supply. If you can find the correct size in black pipe I'm sure you can weld it onto the support. Look for a union or something with female threads.

What I do when the threads are worn is , I use the older style pin that has no threads from the early hundred series. Then just take enough of what is left of the threads out to make it fit tight.
