There are three separate reservoirs for the transmission, hydraulic system and differential. Make sure all of them are up to their proper levels because sometimes the seals that separate them are worn and when the hydraulic fluid is drained, the fluid from one or both of the others drains also. IF one or both seals are bad, you'll want to use tractor hydraulic fluid in all three reservoirs or you'll be getting gearlube into the hydraulic system, slowing it down. Also, when the hydraulic fluid was drained, was the hydraulic pickup screen cleaned? If not, there's a good chance that it's getting clogged; a common cause of slow hydraulics. Good luck. Let us know when you get it solved.

Did you put in hydraulic fluid rather than gear grease? Sounds like time to overhaul the pump if you put in the hydraulic fluid. You could try priming it by removing the hex plug from the front top of the pump, cranking the tractor until oil comes out and replacing the plug. If that helps, but the help is short lived, you definately need a pump overhaul.
